Text Box: Hello Everyone, Greetings from what many have described as “Myrtle Beach without the water”…Pigeon Forge, TN. In The Great Smoky Mountains Of East Tennessee! Well, we may still be without the water, but now, Shaggers have a brand new musical home in the Smokies. The Beach House Theatre!! Our opening is scheduled for June 6th and 7th, for “Sun Fun In the Smokies” week. Hello! I am Pat Corn, the producer of “Ocean Drive”, a beach music, shag, and soul music revue that is already the buzz all over the entire area. Our show will be the hottest new show in the Smokies without a doubt. With a top-notch, live horn band and some of the greatest vocalists you’ve ever heard , ‘Ocean Drive” will be a perfect destination for your shag club members, coming solo or as a tour group sanctioned by your shag club. Our Smoky Mountain area plays host to 12.5 million visitors per year and our music theatres are a top draw item on everyone’s visitor list. Now, there is a show that is totally different, interactive, and in an atmosphere that will make you feel like you just went to the biggest pool party ever! No restrictive theatre seating and total freedom to interact with one another, and the show as well. As a matter of fact, the Smoky Mountain Boogie shag and swing convention just occurred here drawing participants from seventeen states. As usual, it was a vast success. You may have received an “Ocean Drive” flyer during that event. I personally have had forty-five years of experience as an artist, session player and arranger, and  producer. “Ocean Drive” is, by far, the greatest show I have ever produced. It’s a show straight from my heart. I spent my younger teen-age years traveling all over the Southeast with various R&B artists. I’ll never forget playing The Pavilion in Myrtle Beach at only sixteen years old. Beach music is a part of my soul. In “Ocean Drive”, every player and singer has a wealth of professional experience. Total pros! No teeny-boppers trying to validate the music their parents once loved. No little dancers fliting around looking cutesy. The only dancer in this show is YOU!! This is the real deal, in a setting you will not believe! Naturally, I believe that every member in your club would thoroughly enjoy “Ocean Drive”, and I would appreciate it very much if you would take time to send the attached PDF file to every shag club and shag club member you might be aware of. We will have an entire theatre ending in December. The show will initially play on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 EDT at The Beach House Theatre within the Cold Creek Resort complex, and I anticipate that we will add more shows during the week as the season moves forward. Now I certainly realize you might think that there might be some distance between your home and ours, but I am certain that there have been folks from your area who have been to Pigeon Forge before and loved the experience. Our area is a top vacation destination so make you plans and pack up your Weejuns and head our way for a fabulous time.
