If you reach our voice mail, press “1” and give us your name and telephone # and tell us you want to register for shag class. Text Box: BEGINNER SHAG LESSONS Are you interested in learning to Shag? Join Stan and Karen McConnell for classes on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on St. Paul’s Church Rd., in Salisbury. No previous Shag experience necessary. Just bring patience and a lot of enthusiasm. Couples or singles welcome. You will learn the basic rock step, basic male and female turns, plus variations, the start, and shag etiquette. This is plenty to get you out on the dance floor and having fun. St. Paul’s members are free; non-members will be asked to contribute $25.00/couple or $15.00/person. The classes will last for six weeks. If there are enough people interested for classes during the summer, a class will begin mid June; if not the next class will begin in September.
