Whether you are a beginner, a great dancer or just want to enjoy a night out listening to the music and watching others dance, join us at The High Rock Boat and Ski Club every Friday night.  We also have socials at the Salisbury Elks Lodge.

The Salisbury Shag Club is a non-profit organization.  We are based in Salisbury, North Carolina located halfway between Charlotte and Greensboro.

Our purpose is to bring together those who enjoy shagging, beach/shag music, fun with friends, and the preservation and development of the dance known as the Carolina Shag.

Guests are always welcome to attend our meetings and events.

We netted $7,200.00 with our 12th annual golf tournament in 2007, which was split equally between Rowan Regional Hospice and Rowan County Relay for Life. 

Our ‘Shagger’s United” held at the Salisbury Elks Lodge was a huge success if you did not make it You missed a great time.  We had over 15 shag clubs represented.  This event gives the proceeds to the top 3 clubs in relation to membership and amount of those present.
